It says a lot about him. He chooses to drive this '13 when he could easily take out a $145,000 fully loaded 2015 Autobiography.

He must (correctly) think the new squinty eyed ones are ugly as sin.

Interesting things happen when you leave a Range Rover running with the air con on and then snow foam it.

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

Interesting in that the air was only coming out through the door handles.

What kind of chump drives a two-year-old Range Rover? Real ballers only drive them with dealer plates.

Haha, that's really odd. We actually have this one sitting outside with the blower on high with a de-ionizer running in it. Third one this week, as it smells like the PO had used it as a damn cigar lounge. The headliner smells very strong.

Oh, it has dealer plates. That's why it's strange. He has his pick of the lot.

Smoking in a car is awful. The headlining has to gently be degreased and cleaned as the glue holding the fabric to the foam isn't very strong, not to mention all the tar and nicotine on the inside glass and plastic surfaces. It's a right pain.

Thats the thing about a lot of well off people, They might be able to throw money away, but you don't stay rich by spending money.

Back when I lived in the UK I stayed near some of the more affluent areas in Surrey, and most drove 10 year old+ normal cars.

They are not ugly! I Like the new ones better honestly. Although I would happily take a previous generation.

So would I just use the standard degreaser we use in the wheel wells? Just in a smaller dose, probably sprayed on a cloth? Or is there something special I should use?

They just don't do it for me, what can I say?

For smokers interior use a fabric interior cleaner, spray a mist on and gently agitate it with a cloth and blot dry. If you get it too wet the glue is likely to weaken and come undone. For heavy soiled spots spray a small amount of 10-20:1 of degreaser onto a cloth and gently rub over the area.
It really depends on the vehicle and how bad it is but for most vehicles that haven't had the interior cleaned in a while (or had kids, kids are awful for car interior fabrics), a mist of fabric cleaner and then a wet vacuum with a brushed nozzle end otherwise a stiff nylon brush gently rubbed over the area will dislodge most crud (do this before cleaning the rest of the interior).

Thanks. I'm going to put together a plan of action for when it inevitably comes back for another clean. Since the manager drive it, it's never got g to be perfect enough. But I get paid, so it's all good.

Being a detailer is like a doctor, remember first do no harm.

Always start with the gentlest method and work up.

If a vacuum will do the trick, great but if not then apply a cleaner, and gently agitate then vacuum and so on.
